| The monitor, model NMM-2, is the military specification version of the civilian model NSM. The chassis is constructed of stainless steel and is totally weatherproof to be used outdoors in any conditions. The screen uses LCD (liquid crystal display) technology behind an armoured glass cover which will resist the impact of ejected cases from automatic weapons. Unlike some monitors, this one has a colour compatable display to help with quick user focus on the relevant screen data and has been designed to be readable in full sun. All connectors are to military specifications to guarantee continuing monitor display under adverse working conditions. Smart card technology has been employed to allow control of the system by either/or the shooter and the range officer.
